Your new role
The school are currently looking to appoint a PGCE / QTS qualified Teacher of A-Level Geography to teach across years 12 & 13, the role will also include ding some general subject cover too. It is a part-time role for 2 days a week, every Tuesday and Thursday. The role is due to start on Monday 25th September to cover an absence and continue on a long-term basis until December 2017. You will be expected to plan, mark and assess all work completed by A-Level students.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are able and experienced to teach Geography to A-Level students. You will be a fully qualified teacher holding a QTS qualification. You will have confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
You will have an enthusiastic approach to teaching, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for your students, to inspire them and get the most out of their education.
