KS3 & KS4 Science Teacher, preferably a Chemistry or Physics specialist, full-time, temp maternity contract

Your new role
The school are looking to appoint a qualified Teacher of GCSE Science on a full time basis, who will also take on the role of a form tutor. The ideal teacher will be expected to monitor the pastoral and academic progress of the students whilst instilling the core values of the school. The role is to cover a maternity leave and is due to start in January 2018 on a long-term basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a PGCE / QTS qualified Teacher with experience and competence teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. You will preferably be a Chemistry or Physics specialist. You will be required to plan, monitor and asses student work, and contribute to the schools drive to be an 'outstanding' school.
The school and students have high expectations and you will be expected to be relentless in your pursuit of excellence and enthusiastic and passionate about the subjects you teach.
