The Role In A Nutshell
We are looking for a Email Marketing Executive who is passionate about delivering exceptional direct, multi-channel marketing campaigns based on data driven insight, which really deliver big results. You will work across segmented and highly-targeted campaigns which will not only engage but must also deliver a measurable response from our members in line with business KPI’s. You will know your acquisition and engagement targets, understand your database of members and deliver campaigns which hit those numbers. Your attitude will be one of continuous improvement, driven by a test and learn approach.
You will be responsible for targeting, building, proofing and executing all email marketing campaigns liaising with our internal Commercial, Social and Content teams; as well as delivery of CRM across other channels such as push. This role sits within a team of 5, reporting into the CRM Manager, ensuring all campaigns deliver against the overarching CRM strategy in order to increase audience engagement and performance for our brand partners, and improve user retention. The culture is fast paced, vibrant, ambitious and constantly changing! So you need to be adaptable, intuitive and innovative in your approach.
Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of CRM within your key region.
  • Be a strong support to your regional lead.
  • Have the confidence to make recommendations to senior colleagues.
  • Deliver highly targeted email and push notifications to our members.
  • Be fastidious in your approach to list requests, email builds, creative development, as well as email build and QA prior to send.
  • Not be daunted by large database sizes and the multiple challenges they present all at once.
  • Be able to bring ideas to the table and be able to articulate your thoughts and ideas clearly.
What We Need From You
  • Proven track record in creating acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to produce reports, insights and recommendations which can be acted upon to improve performance in your key region.
  • Worked in a fast paced CRM environment, where you are accountable for your actions.
  • Worked as part of a team to share cross learnings in order to contribute to the CRM function as a whole.
  • Dealt directly with creative and data, with an understanding of the process for getting the best out of both.
