This film finance company works with accountants and financial advisors to structure commercial and tax efficient investments and business opportunities for individuals and companies. Also within the group is Bulldog Film Distribution which operates as a fully independent UK film distributor releasing films across all platforms.

The role will predominantly be to manage the day to day bookkeeping of the company's / Bulldog and its associate companies and deliver timely and accurate records to the outsourced financial compliance function, namely JS & CO LLP.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified with a practice background and be keen to continue their accountancy studies through to ACCA qualification.

Main Objectives
- Ensure accurate records are kept for numerous external clients using SAGE and liaise with external clients as necessary.
- Report regularly to management and communicate effectively to ensure the timely preparation of statutory accounts.
- Have an overall understanding of each client including but not limited to: VAT deadlines, Cash balances including reconciliations, credit control and allocation of expenses.
- Manage the filing of invoices for numerous external clients including the company & Bulldog

Desired Skills and Experience
- Correct application of VAT and working knowledge of VAT control accounts
- Very good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Experience in using SAGE Line 50 software is highly desirable
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience with at least two years relevant book-keeping experience
- Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word
