Facilities Manager

An enthusiastic and dynamic Facilities Manager required for the management and maintenance of physical college assets.

Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum

Full Time and Permanent

A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen at this leading Further Education College in Swindon. A very modern, and still developing Campus it lends itself to a person who wants to make their own impression in the Facilities and Premises Management arena.

The person we are looking for will have knowledge of premises management and all the statutory and best practice maintenance and upkeep requirements of a popular and well used set of modern buildings.

Whilst we would take on the right full time experienced Facilities Manager consideration would be made for the right part qualified person who wants to take their career and training to the next level.

Essential Skills:
Knowledge of Hard and Soft Facilities Management Requirements
Already engaged on a Facilities / Premises career path
Ability to lead an in-house premises support team
Working knowledge of M&E and B&CE maintenance and best practice
Able to produce detailed reports and submissions for Senior Managers
Knowledge of contracts and documentation relative to the post
Knowledge of budget control and management
IT literate and able to use standard Microsoft Office products
Excellent Communicator
Able to work under pressure

Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in Educational Establishments (particularly FE)
Understanding of contracts, SLA's and KPI's
Knowledge of CMMS/CAFM systems and their use (particularly Fiix)
Knowledge of Premises and Capital Project integration
Holder of IOSH Managing Safely or similar.
