This is an opportunity to join a busy contract packing company based in Needham Market, Suffolk, working for a variety of business sectors including pet food, horticulture, bird food, fishing baits and household products. This is a full time, permanent role.

They are looking for a hands on, organised and efficient person to assist in their Sales and Marketing Department working alongside their Business Development Manager.

This is a new role working as part of a busy team to ensure their Sales Department runs efficiently as they continue to grow. This role requires an excellent telephone manner, good working knowledge of Word/Excel and experience using Sage CRM would be useful, no two days are the same!

Job highlights include:
- Researching and sourcing component parts as and when required to meet client brief.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and following-up.
- Negotiating to obtain best price from suppliers.
- To provide detailed sales quotes as instructed by Business Development Manager.
- Communicating with existing and prospect clients to assist Business Development Manager.
- To request production samples following internal procedure.
- To communicate parts required to Sales Administrator for ordering.
- To complete Pre-Production Information paperwork required for ensure a detailed handover to production department.
- Ensuring that the CRM is kept up to date.
- To attend internal Sales and Marketing meetings and help implement the agreed sales and marketing plans.
- Attending client meetings and exhibitions when necessary to help build relationships.
- Assisting Business Development Manager with appointment and diary management.
- To meet and greet visitors when necessary
- Undertake any sales and marketing projects as and when required.
- General administration to assist with the smooth running of the Sales & Marketing Department.
