We are looking for someone to join a small team assisting a wheelchair-using Journalist who works as a Producer for one of the major TV News companies.

The duties will include assisting our client in the workplace – a busy international newsroom - and in social and domestic settings, affording him full independence.

Due to the nature of the news business and the busy social life of our client, the successful applicant will have a willingness to work late hours and on some weekends. They will also have excellent spoken and written English, together with a full, clean EU driving licence. Of equal importance is the professionalism and discretion required to work in a high-profile media environment.

In our experience, this role works equally well for those in the advanced stages of their education, such as PhD students, or exceptional practitioners from the care sector. Clearly, for those interested in working within a live television environment, becoming part of this tight-knit team would provide invaluable insights and the opportunity to start building their network of contacts.

Given the sometimes anti-social hours required, free accommodation is available at the client’s home when on duty. This means that applicants who live outside London should not be deterred, provided they can dedicate 2-3 days a week to the role.

Those interested in applying should, in the first instance, send their C.V. to indiecrewltd@gmail.com using the subject line: Support Assistant – West London
