Based: Bradford
Salary: Competitive depending upon experience, bonus and pension after qualifying period

This company forms part of the largest independent UK Steel Stockholder, employing over 1200 people on 25 sites throughout the UK. They specialise in stainless steel modular handrail fitting and focuses on developing sales of this specialist product.

The Role

They currently have an exciting opportunity available for an ambitious, enthusiastic Business Development Executive to cover the whole of the UK to help maintain and develop a strong portfolio of customers; building long term mutually beneficial relationships.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of new customers and generating new business leads by face to face visits, targeted phone calls and other marketing strategies. You will also be required to manage the database of live accounts and develop any missing revenue from these, ensuring agreed sales targets and KPI's are continuously met.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous B2B field sales experience within a demanding sales environment and have a proven record of building up accounts and delivering results, ideally with a technical background. They are looking for a strong team player who is highly enthusiastic, committed and looking to take their career to the next level. Experience of the architectural / steel industry would be an advantage however this is not essential.

The offices are based in Bradford, travelling throughout the UK and stopping away will be required along with a full UK driving license.
