Hours: 37 Hours per week

South Gloucestershire & Stroud College has an excellent reputation for delivering further education and work-based programmes in a range of subjects - from business to sport, engineering to media, GCSE's and A Levels to degree level courses.

BIPA (Bristol Institute of Performing Arts) is based at the specialist WISE campus of SGS College Bristol. BIPA offers a full degree programmes in both Musical Theatre, Drama and Performance and an FdA in Dance. The courses are validated by the University of Gloucestershire. The site also accommodates highly successful programmes in Performing Arts levels 1-3.

The BA Musical Theatre aims to prepare students to work in the profession with a strong emphasis on technique classes in acting, singing and dance combined with major production work and academic study. There is a team of dance, singing and acting specialists who contribute to the course.

We wish to appoint a dynamic teacher to Course Lead and lecture on the BA Musical Theatre Degree. We welcome applicants with skill and experience in directing Musical Theatre and with a wide knowledge of repertoire who are able to contribute to the academic and critical theory delivery. We are willing to consider applicants who wish to work part-time.

The department has excellent facilities including a 250 seat theatre, 80 seat studio theatre, tech theatre workshop,4 dance studios, 5 drama studios and full technical facilities and support.
