Lecturer in Trade Union Studies

£23,560 - £35,583 per annum

14.8 hours per week

Our new STEM Centre provides a dynamic, vibrant and rewarding working environment where your skills will be used to their full potential.

We are looking for someone to deliver on a range of TUC courses including the Diploma in Employment Law, courses for Union Representatives and courses for Health and Safety representatives. You will also be expected to take responsibility for high-levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered, as well as all administrative tasks related to class responsibility. Experience of developing online and blended learning courses is desirable.

You should have a relevant teaching qualification and up to date knowledge of employment legislation, health and safety legislation and recent developments in industrial relations. You should also have experience of communicating with unions and employers. A degree in a relevant subject for TUC studies (e.g. Economics, Law, Politics, Sociology, History) is desirable.
