They are a successful 'challenger' practice, bringing together a diverse team to deliver a modern accountancy service. They are already in the top 4% of UK firms, and have set their sights on becoming the UK's leading small business practice by 2022. They have been supported by Goldman Sachs, won a Queen's Award for Innovation, and are building a reputation in the profession for their application of artificial intelligence.

They are now seeking a senior manager / partner to lead their team of seven accountants (supported by seven client managers) to provide compliance and advisory support to their base of over 1,000 clients.

To be considered, you must be ACCA qualified with proven technical knowledge, gained through practice experience. You should also have a passion for leading teams, and you will have the skills to develop individuals and support them to achieve their career goals.

The day to day role includes:

- Being accountable for compliance and advisory activities, and managing your team to deliver jobs on time
- Setting, demonstrating and maintaining high standards and practices
- Continuously improving client service quality and efficiency, including furthering the skills and knowledge of your team
- Ensuring team capacity is planned, and taking responsibility for growing your team to meet demand

The firm's wider team are from outside the accountancy profession, meaning you'll work together with a variety of professionals (including software developers, marketers and operations experts) to deliver the firm's objectives. Reporting to the CEO, you will be encouraged to challenge conventions, put customers at the heart of your role and be supported to deliver change.
