This software company is looking for talented and experienced Business Development Executive to join their sales team and become part of their growth by securing and developing business with organisations through telesales and face-to-face meetings. They are a London based company and are currently recruiting for their East London office.

Their passion, technical expertise and ability allow them to create innovative bespoke solutions for their client's business needs. Their desire is to achieve this in the smartest and fastest way possible. They provide full software development services that caters for SME's and blue chip clients. They build bespoke software to help with the continued growth of their clients businesses. They also have their own software aimed at a very large but a very niche market.

Key Responsibilities

- Listening to customer's requirements
- Liaise with the management and present the client with the best and most appropriate solutions to the clients problems..
- Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Making effective calls to key decision makers and arrange meetings with the potential to convert to sale.
- Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Gathering market and customer information
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Overcoming objections with a view to satisfying the prospective client.
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of the sales process which is largely dictated by the prospective client
- Liaising with developers to check the progress of existing orders
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales manager Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements

Typical Qualifications / Experience

The successful candidate will:

- Be experienced in sales
- Demonstrate a strong desire to work within a sales environment
- Be a highly motivated pro-active self-starter
- Well-organised and commercially aware
- Background experience or strong interest in IT and sales
- Commitment and drive for business development
- Knack for relationship building
