A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ a Volcker Controller, based in London
Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The role holder will be responsible for Volcker data collation and secondary completeness control across traded risk, PC and Finance to ensure accurate and timely internal governance and regulatory submission. They will be managing in a timely manner the evolution of data scope and the communication of those changes to the reporting team and stakeholders in the region. The role holder will be coordinating within and between the regions to maintain transparency and consistency globally and across asset class and will be communicating key risks and critical issues to Senior management and managing the systems infrastructure evolution involved in delivering Volcker collection with functionalities helping it to meet high standards. They will need to establish strong partnership with VC in other regions, VRM, VCO and other areas. The role holder will provide management with advice on Volcker risk related and internal controls advice as well as ensuring effective controls are in place and providing accurate and timely value adding input during all stages of reporting cycle for internal governance and regulatory submission.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:
- 2 years+ proven leadership experience in regulatory issues in Markets environment / Volcker or other relevant areas
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Markets risk and / or Product Control
- Ability to obtain data from multiple sources, link and analyse the information, perform data integrity and completeness checks
