Job Purpose
To build a profitable and sustainable portfolio of new clients for the company. To establish the company as a trusted partner in the employee benefits market and to be the number one choice for an employee engagement platform. To build relationships with a selection of existing clients and to maximise on revenue spend with the company.

Person Specification
- Business development experience within employee benefits / online benefits / flexible benefits
- Personal credibility
- Ability to develop and nurture effective business relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce high quality proposal and tender documents
- Ability to drive a number of initiatives at any one time
- Demonstrable knowledge of Employee Benefits, Payroll, HR, Pensions & UK legislation in relation to these
- Confident and professional with the ability to think on your feet
- Negotiation skills and stakeholder management
- Commitment to their core values

Key Responsibilities
- To lead the development of winning new tenders and opportunities resulting in income generation for the business against agreed targets
- Establish, build and maintain relationships with potential partner firms
- Maximise sales opportunities through effective key account planning and consultative, project orientated approach
- Development of new business, from initial prospect through to completion
- Build and maintain a new business prospect list
- Preparation of detailed quotations focused towards a tailored service and a solution sale.
- Prepare and present presentations in line with existing and potential clients requirements
- Produce account plans to ensure each customer is reviewed and communicated with regularly to ensure maximum satisfaction ratings
- Demonstrate an understanding of the customers' requirements and present appropriate solutions
- Maintain a clear understanding of the market and region while effectively adapting to changing dynamics
- Maintain competitor awareness
- Develop knowledge of product offering
- Be a credible ambassador for the company at seminars and events
- Work autonomously to performance measures and overachieve on monthly / quarterly targets
- Meet/exceed all set KPI's
