This company has two arms: a software development agency with a small number of well-established clients and an online retail arm heavily supported by a LAMP application under constant development.

The successful applicant would work in both parts of the company, reporting directly to the Technical Director.

They are a small and friendly company based in Albourne, West Sussex, 10 minutes north of Brighton. They have a small and growing team of experienced developers who encourage a culture of quality, support and learning.

Job Description:

You should enjoy developing well thought through and well-considered code using MVC OOP and various APIs.

Day to day activities would predominantly be the design and build of MVC OOP architecture web applications. Joining a small (and growing) company means the possibility of a variety of work. Although it is not essential for the role, some applicants might be interested in getting involved in other aspects of the business.

Qualifications & Skills in order of importance are:

- PHP, MySQL, HTML/XML, JavaScript,
- Framework (e.g. Cake), Linux, Apache, GIT.
- Having all of these skills is not necessary

Time and support would be given to you to learn new skills where needed.

Just as important are: enthusiasm, being proactive and a love of all things computer.

- Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm
