This is an opportunity to join a publishing services bureau working for some of the UK's most well-known publishers, as well as a large number of specialist publishers.

As a Subscription Executive you will be assisting with all financial and administrative duties for a busy subscriptions department, with a view to becoming a fully trained member of the customer service team, processing orders and dealing with customer enquiries.

Duties include
- Daily and weekly reconciliation of subscription orders
- Running and checking weekly financial reports to send to clients
- Categorise client work and record it on in house system
- Emailing receipts, invoices and credit notes to customers
- Collecting subscription audit samples and providing electronic documentation
- Maintaining subscription database and processing daily order deletions
- Downloading and formatting orders in Excel to be captured by the customer service team
- Weekly cheque banking and direct debit processing
- Liaison with your line manager to ensure the smooth running of all client files
- Liaison with clients on any queries as necessary
- Answering queries from customers and processing orders via telephone, post and email
- Handling customer payment details securely

Candidate Profile
- Ability to follow instructions and structured processes
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good spelling, grammar and command of English language
- Aptitude to learn new databases and software packages
- Good mathematical skills with the ability to understand accountancy procedures
- Confident and friendly telephone manner with the aptitude to handle complaints when required
- A proactive nature with the ability to identify problems and communicate these affectively
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to resolve queries
- Good team player and inter-personal skills
- A willingness to be flexible and carry out extra duties outside normal role
- Due to their rural location, own transport is necessary

- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Normal hours would be 9.00 am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch (except during busy periods when flexible hours will be required)
