This consultancy company provides advice, support and assistance to healthcare businesses of all types across the UK, including:

- Care homes
- Nursing homes
- Adult Learning Disability and Mental Health homes
- Children's homes
- Domiciliary care providers

They provide support related to crisis and turnaround management, as well as business development, market research, policies, text for marketing leaflets and websites, and HR support.

They are looking for a Compliance & Policy Manager to support their Director and Consultants who work with their clients. Your role will mostly be working from home.

Main Responsibilities

- Write and compile bespoke policies, procedures, forms and templates for our clients.
- Write and compile training presentations across the very broad range of training possibilities e.g. Safeguarding, Infection Control, Medication, Boundaries, Leadership in Healthcare, etc.
- Providing support as needed for their Director and their Consultants, completing certain tasks for their clients.
- Working with their Director on Business Development and Market Research projects, including researching information (via internet, email and phone), so they may provide bespoke, detailed and informative reports to their clients.
- Completing research and other tasks for the Director related to the strategic development of the company.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum of 15 yrs experience working in the UK healthcare sector.
- Either a Qualified Nurse (RMN, RNLD or RGN), or a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
- You must have a genuine interest in supporting healthcare organisations so that they:
a) Operate safely and effectively.
b) Provide the best possible outcomes for Service Users and Residents.
c) Develop effective systems and processes related to governance, audit and quality assurance.
- You must have a good understanding of current healthcare regulation, best practice guidance, policies and procedures.
- You must be familiar with the writing and compilation of policies and procedures, the design and compilation of templates, and the compilation of training presentations.
- You must genuinely believe in the provision of the best care possible to all vulnerable people, and at all times uphold our culture and ethos. This isn't just a job for us.
- Have excellent written and communication skills.
- Have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary is up to £45,000 depending on experience, prorated to 3-days per week.
- 25 days of Annual Leave prorated.
- Other benefits such as childcare vouchers and pensions are available.
- You will be provided with a company laptop, printer and mobile phone.

Additional Information

- This job role requires the successful candidate to be flexible in their working hours, sometimes working beyond 5pm.
- The successful candidate will be required to meet with the Director at least twice a month to review progress being made on various projects.
