A role for a Warehouse Operator to join a growing and innovative manufacturing company based in the North Lincolnshire area.

To control the inbound and outbound flow of materials and finished goods to meet business & customer requirements in a cost-effective manner, whilst complying with company Quality systems, regulatory and statutory Health & Safety requirements and Site Safety policy. To provide continuous support and development of processes and procedures to improve business results and individual performance. Review, report and provide recommendations to continually improve departmental performance against key business measures. Ensure consistency of standards, communication and application of procedures across shifts and departments.

2. Principal Accountabilities

- To perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and Quality Systems standards and specifically with all T2 and T3 SOPS relevant to the department.
- To apply high standards of occupational Health & Safety in the workplace to comply with company policy and procedures.

To ensure and maintain a safe working environment within the warehouse department by application of high standards of occupational Health & Safety through adherence to statutory and regulatory standards, procedures and systems specifically to compliance with Company and business policy and procedures. Monitor, identify and implement improvements to departmental safety performance.

To ensure and maintain quality compliance within their production department, through adherence to site Quality Manual. To deliver ongoing improvements to departmental processes and procedures working with Operational, Quality and Technical teams.

To manage all receiving, unloading, rotation and issuing of all raw materials to achieve departmental and business objectives whilst maintaining area hygiene and quality standards. To support despatch operations in the wrapping, moving and loading of pallets. To ensure all stock control records/Kanban's are kept up to date and manage monthly stock count of raw materials.

To lead and facilitate an improvement culture to achieve continuous and step change in line with business plan and objectives. To deliver waste management and recycling projects across site. Provide a link across shift and departments to share information, issues, decisions and best practise.

3. Key Challenges

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for setting and maintaining standards through delivering results and maintaining the warehouse infrastructure. The Warehouse role is responsible for ensuring the correct control of stock while meeting Safety requirements, Customer Service and Quality standards.

5. Experience

Self - starting, commercially aware with a strong results orientation and good leadership qualities.
Relevant technical experience and a minimum of 1 years at a supervisory level, gained in a manufacturing or technical environment. Ideally experience of stock control systems.
