Salon Manager

37 hours per week

£24,302.04 per annum plus a profit share scheme

Swindon College is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified, professional therapist who will take on the responsibility of the management of the Salon along with performing treatments.

Key role elements include:

To develop links with customers and clients in line with the strategic plan and three-year development plan.

To oversee Salon contracts and quality compliance for all activities and partnerships and report weekly to the Head of Learning.

To develop and maintain management information to monitor performance of Salon contact against targets and produce monthly contract performance reports.

To take responsibility for the ordering and stock control within the salons.

To run a commercial column 2 days a week.

To work and liaise with the L4 tutor for IPL advanced beauty therapy, and students L3/ 4 Hair and beauty.

It is essential to hold a minimum of Level 3 or National Diploma in Beauty Therapy. If you do not hold the Assessors Award then you will have the commitment to gain one. You will also be required to hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Maths and English (or have the commitment to gain this qualification).
