Product Governance Senior Manager
A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ a Product Governance Senior Manager, based in London.
Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The role holder will be responsible for management, oversight and evolution of the Global Commercial Banking (CMB) Product Governance Framework. They will manage and drive evolution of CMB’s Global Product Governance Framework, in association with the Global Head of Product Governance, in delivering the CMB Global Product Governance framework for all CMB Regions and across all Product Providers (as above). They will also ensure support and alignment with CMB Conduct outcomes.
In addition, the role holder will seek opportunities to rationalise and simplify the product portfolio for our customers and front-line colleagues, and monitor the review of the extant product portfolio. They will facilitate the tracking and monitoring of legacy products through CMB Backbook Reviews and the periodic publication of the CMB Backbook Dashboard. They will also identify opportunities to improve, strengthen and streamline these processes.
The individual will be expected to establish, and manage relationships with related Product Providers, Client Coverage, CMB Regions and Functions to deliver effective Global Product Governance / Sales Suitability across CMB.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Broad commercial banking experience, some product management, front line or risk management role or equivalent function is desirable
- A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
- Proven experience in effectively dealing with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
- Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
