we are currently recruiting warehouse operative, who has the desire to succeed and willing to go the extra. Main Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing of customer orders ensuring daily tasks are carried out in accordance to health & safety practices.
• Operation of slitting, label and conversion equipment in a safe and efficient way ensuring daily tasks are carried out in accordance to health and safety practices.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and kept in good working order and regularly cleaned in accordance to our procedures. Reporting of any issues to supervisor
• Ensure work areas are clean and tidy for the safe transfer of materials and to allow everyone to carry out their daily duties
• During all aspects of material handling, continuously check to ensure the quality of the products for defects and report any issues to supervisor
• Work in an efficient way to ensure orders are collated correctly and are despatched in a safe and well presented packaging
• Make sure work areas are clean and tidy for the safe transfer of materials and work force to carry out their daily tasks.

Ideally Candidate

• Operate forklift for unloading, loading of vehicles and storage of materials in our warehouse in a safe and tidy system (Forklift truck licence holders only)
• Understanding and use of Opera and Label software
• Follow ISO procedures and provide feedback to improve our systems
• Provide visiting customers with a first class service level
• Liaise with transport companies to fulfil customer order requirements
• Discuss with stock controller any stock issues and correct if required
• Provide feedback to sales co-ordinators relating to customer orders and enquiries
• Assisting in random stock checks
• Assisting in checking goods received and booking materials in and putting materials into the appropriate areas.
• Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
