My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their friendly and supportive Team of flood risk specialists based in Horsham.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to be trained by a specialist team of Hydrologist and Flood Risk Engineers to complete varied Flood Risk, Flood Estimation, Hydraulic Modelling, River, Coastal and Surface Water Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Government Bodies.

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be trained and supported to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Flood Defence Schemes, Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH and Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build, Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

This exciting Graduate role offers a competitive salary, specialist training, substantial benefits package and support to achieve Chartered Status through CIWEM.

Candidates are required to have a BSc, MSc and/or PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrology, Coastal Engineering or Hydroinformatics) and working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing or reviewing Flood Risk, Drainage, Coastal or Hydraulic Modelling Projects.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience using Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow or Hec-Ras through academic modules of work experience.
