My client, a international multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology, Hydraulic Modelling and Coastal Engineering, is searching for a Senior Coastal Consultant to join their team of specialists based in Exeter.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Civil or Coastal Engineering and ideally experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Sediment Studies, Analysis and modelling, Coastal Flood Risk Assessments and Shoreline Management Plans.

Applicants are required to have experience working on Ports or Harbour Projects including designing Coastal Sea Defence, Flood Gates, Sea Walls and Revetments.

It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing on-shore and off-shore wave transformation analysis.

This exciting Coastal opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly and supportive team of specialists based in Exeter to complete Flood Risk, Coastal, Tidal, Ports and Harbour Projects for Local Authorities, Government Bodies and Private Sector Clients.

As a Senior Consultant you will required to manage complex Projects, mentor team members and complete technical work including;

-Coastal Flood Risk Assessments.

-Project Appraisal Reports for Coastal Flooding Projects.

-On-shore and off-shore Wave Transformation Analysis.

-Joint Probability Analysis and Coastal Analysis

-Detailed design of Coastal Sea Defence, Flood Gates, Sea Walls and Revetments.

-Sediment Studies, modelling and numerical analysis.

-Tidal and Wave Modelling using Mike 21 and Delft 3D.
