Our client is a community-based rehabilitation service providing a multidisciplinary approach to help service users with rehabilitation and recovery to enable them to successfully live independently and integrate within the community.

We are recruiting a clinical practitioner to work at deputy manager level within a multidisciplinary team on a permanent basis. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to develop within a specialist role as part of an innovative flagship CQC service.

The role will include:
• Providing clinical input for the service
• Ensuring a high quality of service is provided
• Leading the team to ensure all care reflects best practice and adheres to all relevant legislation
• Providing support and supervision for staff
• Deputising for the team manager as required
• Advise the multidisciplinary team on best practice and new legislation
• Managing service user mental and physical health needs
• Working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

Essential Experience: Applicants must have substantial experience of working with working with vulnerable adults with complex mental health and physical health issues. In addition, a relevant professional qualification such as nursing, psychology or social work is required.

Essential Skills:
• Experience of developing clinical interventions
• Experience of working within a therapeutic setting in the community
• Supervision Experience
• Conflict resolution skills
• Up to date knowledge and experience of relevant legislation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage service users on a one-to-one basis
• Knowledge and experience of evidence-based specialist interventions
• Experience of leading groups
• Risk management experience
• Motivational skills
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of equality and diversity
