SOCIAL INCLUSION COORDINATOR

MONTAGUE ROAD, FELIXSTOWE, SUFFOLK

£8.10 PER HOUR (RISING TO £8.53 AFTER 12 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE)

21 HOURS PER WEEK (3 x 7 HOUR SHIFTS) - INCLUDES WORKING EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS

We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Social Inclusion Coordinator to assist in group and individual home activities for the enjoyment of service users and in line with statutory requirements and organisational needs.

The role of Social Inclusion Coordinator will include:

* Delivering and facilitating innovative and varied individual and group activities internally and externally
* Assisting with producing individual written activity profiles and reporting any issues relating to service users
* Promoting safe working practices, including risk assessments, reporting faults and hazards so to ensure a safe environment is maintained
Attending and participating in fund raising and social events to promote Sanctuary Supported Living services to the wider community
Skills and experiences:

* Proven experience of working in a similar role and with relevant client groups
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Care or similar is desirable
* Good communications skills with the ability to work
* An understanding of health and safety
Basic understanding of MS Word and Excel
