As we continue to grow, develop and establish our selves within the care industry we are now looking to grow our team due to the continued success we have had.

Job roles and responsibilities:

- Dressing, undressing/preparing the Individual for day care or trips out.
- Washing/bathing/showering/shaving/grooming/cleaning teeth
- Hair care (washing/brushing)
- Nail care(washing/brushing)
- Continence care and all aspects of personal hygiene
- Care of pressure sores (under appropriate nursing supervision and training)
- Getting in and out of bed
- Assisting with the use of aids to daily living/rehabilitation aids
- Helping with rehabilitation programmes, as prescribed by healthcare professionals with relevant training
- Day/evening/night sitting/sleep in services
- Prompting and assisting the Individual to take prescribed medication
- Administration of medication if appropriately trained to do so
- Preparation of meals and snacks to Individual`s taste
- Assisting with feeding as required
- Use of hoists and moving equipment as appropriate to the service user.
- Assist in the care of the dying and bereaved, ensuring privacy and dignity are maintained always
- Report on well being of Individuals using our services
- Complete any relevant paperwork relating to personal care

Other Duties

- Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Individuals personal and financial affairs, and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship that exists with clients

· Report any faulty appliances, damaged furniture, equipment or potential hazard to your Team leader or Care Coordinator

· Accompanying Individuals on outings

· Assistance with Individuals personal correspondence

· Ability to maintain accurate records

· Attendance at care reviews as appropriate

· Other duties as may be reasonably agreed

· Attend regular appraisal/monitoring/supervision meetings with their line manager when required to do so.

· Attend refresher training and occupational training sessions as appropriate

The requirements:

- Previous experience is not essential but would be advantageous
- All applicants will be expected to pass a DBS check
- Driving license and transport not essential but again would be advantageous
