Specialist residential Support worker - Children's home - Gloucester - Full time job - £18k - £20k

Your new company
A specialist therapeutic children's home based in Gloucester that specialise in proving care for children with a range of complex needs. The home is set up to work with children who need specialist support for a range of different needs including Attachment disorder, Mental health, Self-harming, Substance abuse and Gender identity issues.

Your new role
Your job is to work as a Therapeutic Support worker, your job is to facilitate in the care of the children living in the home and to ensure that you achieve positive outcomes with that child. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and caring environment where the children can safely and effectively address their issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have had experience of working with children in a similar residential setting, an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care would be an advantage but not essential, the most important thing to have is a passionate and caring attitude to the work and support you provide.
