Team Leader / Domiciliary Care / Manchester

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised and experienced Team Leader to join a highly reputable, established and rapidly expanding Domiciliary Care Business. The post is based at one of our Extra Care Schemes, where we provide 24/7 care to clients who all live on one site. The role will involve working on a shift pattern with a mixture of early and late shifts and weekends.

If you are passionate about providing the best in community care, enjoying the responsibility of supervising a team of carers and co-ordinators, take pride in building relationships with your Care Assistants to gain their commitment and reliability then this role is for you!

As a Care Co-ordinator your role will include the following duties:

Assist the branch manager in the efficient running of the service.

Organise daily plans and rotas.

*
Lead by example, demonstrating commitment to work and quality provision of care.

Manage the office in the absence of the Registered Manager

*
Investigate any complaints or allegations from staff members or clients

*
Ensure that the care coordinators rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned

*
Work with recruitment teams to ensure a strong pipeline of carers are being registered.

*
Plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the particular needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker.

*
Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care.

*
Take part in the On Call out of hours’ service as required.
