Support worker job in Stroud, working with a fantastic charity who support adults with Learning difficulties

Your new company
This is a wonderful charity based in Stroud that looks after adults with a range of Learning difficulties and complex needs. The charity has a number of residential and supported living services based around Stroud and Stonehouse where they provide exceptional care and support to the people in their care, they pride themselves on following a truly person centred approach and allow people to live a fulfilling and successful life.

Your new role
Your job as a Support worker is integral to giving people in your care the support they need, this job has to be one of the most fulfilling jobs you can have. You play a vital part in helping people with Learning difficulties a better life, your job could be to help people access the community and help with personal care and emotional support.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have some experience of working within the field of Learning difficulties or other complex needs, although this is not essential. What is important is that you display a real passion and desire to help people and provider first class care.

What you'll get in return
A starting hourly pay of £7.75 which rises to £8.25 after probation and successful completion of your NVQ which is funded by the charity. Company pension, local discounts and other great benefits.
