Our client is an established Not for Profit organisation providing support and accommodation for some of the most vulnerable people in society.

They are currently seeking a Communications Manager to join their head office based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to develop and provide an excellent communications service to internal and external stakeholders. This will include the smooth day-to-day operation of media relations, internal communications and other forms of communication in accordance with policies and procedures.

Within this role your main responsibilities will include developing and implementing the corporate communication and media strategies; developing key messages for all audiences to communicate our client's core brand identity and the services they provide and promoting positive exposure within the regional and specialist print, web-based and broadcast media. You will also be expected to write copy as required, supervising the print and design process for the production of newsletters, reports and publications; research and write stories, features and other editorial matieral for external publication and monitor and report on media coverage of the organisation and issues relevant to it's work, identifying proactive opportunities.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will have experience of creating web and intranet content and managing corporate social media accounts. It is essential that you are a strong communicator who can influence and negotiate and you will be highly organised, enabling you to plan and prioritise effectively at all levels. You should have a well developed new sense and knowledge of current affairs and you will have the ability to deal with sensitive and complex issues with diplomacy, abiding by strict confidentially requirements.

A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
