Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Executive / Manager (dependent on experience)
Location: Oxford, with occasional travel

Our client is a leading corporate finance house, which advises on Mergers and Acquisitions of UK-based business. Their work very often involves international negotiations and dealings with entrepreneurs, family businesses, acquiring teams from large corporates, Private Equity investors, lawyers, accountants and other professional advisors.

Role Overview:

We are now seeking a Marketing Executive with relevant experience to take internal responsibility for our marketing activities. Working to a clearly defined business and marketing strategy, the Marketing Executive will be expected to deliver upon the strategy involving lead follow-ups, research of prospects, organizing events, coordinating with other professional advisors, contributing to collateral and digital content, and all other inputs relating to marketing to new opportunities and nurturing prospects.

Principle Responsibilities:

1. Campaign management: 1. 2. Help devise, implement and maintain an annual go to market strategy. Working across the full marketing mix to support the firm`s marketing and Business Development activity.
2. 3. Keeping up to date with topical issues in the market place and working with the team to produce relevant and timely campaigns to market.
3. 4. A strong copywriter with ability to write, edit and proof-read copy for promotional materials.
4. 5. Work with external providers as appropriate
5. 6. Undertake / manage design work for both digital and hard copy campaign materials.
6. 7. Supporting the team in the generation of content for other marketing activity including for the website, newsletters, email campaigns and awards submissions.
7. 8. Manage the delivery of events including external seminars, breakfast meetings, lunches

1. Relationship management: 1. 2. Ensuring that prospects are followed up and carefully managed from within our CRM system
2. 3. Proactively nurturing relationships and building trust between prospects and Rockworth.

1. Management & team-working 1. 2. Primary responsibility for execution of the marketing plan and individual campaigns.
2. 3. Currently this role holds no line management responsibility however leadership and team working skills will be assessed on interview.
3. 4. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that the marketing program effectively represents the company and its expertise.

1. Communication 1. 2. Excellent written communication skills are essential, candidates will be asked to provide evidence.
2. 3. Verbal communication including the ability to liaise with colleagues to gain both information and campaign buy-in.

1. Data & Reporting 1. 2. A strong analytical person able to: 1. 2. 3. Work with management to determine parameters for success and succinctly track marketing ROI
2. 3. 4. Collect and analyse market data, using this to inform recommendations for new campaign activity.
3. 4. 5. Management of information, contacts and activities within the CRM system

1. Creation of Collateral 1. 2. Maintain up to date materials produced in-house according to agreed brand guidelines
2. 3. Work with an external design agency to produce materials for specific projects as required.
3. 4. Website - maintain website using CMS system, liaising with both internal and external partners to produce content etc.

Person Specification:

1. Work based competencies: 1. 2. Demonstrable experience in a similar marketing role focused on campaign delivery.
2. 3. Exceptional communication and team working skills.
3. 4. Experience working with Sales / Business Development teams is desirable.
4. 5. Experience within the professional services or financial industry demonstrating an understanding/empathy with the company`s client-base will be advantageous.

1. Skills/Qualifications Required: 1. 2. Relevant marketing degree, CIM qualification or part qualification.

1. Work Pattern: 1. 2. Normal business hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9.00am -5.30pm)
