Due to this expansion, we are looking to expand our Email Marketing team based in the head office in Stafford with someone who can drive forward our technical capabilities in this area.

The Role
As a Technical Email Network Specialist, you must have experience of developing and supporting operational and development teams; building email solutions, capable of sending millions of emails as well as configuring and maintaining the infrastructure required to support and monitor them. These experiences would be coupled with a passion to work on your own as well as with others to make improvements in these areas understanding the business needs and priorities.

Essential skills/knowledge
• Experience with in-house and/ or outsourced emailing solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of
o Soft and Hard Bounces and Abuse Reports
o Email Feedback Loops
o Building email IT infrastructure
o Email delivery, contact management and optimisation software
o Monitoring and managing server reputation
• Up to date knowledge of the email industry and related technical and commercial best practices.
• Ablity to demonstrate an understanding of the security and data protection aspects concerning emails and how to meet their requirements
• An appreciation for commercial objectives and marketing strategy and experience of adapting solutions accordingly

• Looks to automate where possible to improve the efficiency, robustness and reliability of processes

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills: able to contribute to and influence tactical and strategic decision making
