Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job - mechanical bias (60/40), in Corby.

With a worldwide network of manufacturing facilities, distribution and development centres, they have the flexibility to serve customerson a local, national and international basis, combining extensive technical expertise and in-depth market knowledge with the highest levels of customer service and support. Due to growth in production, a permanent Maintenance Engineer is needed at their Corby site.

Your new role
You'll join a team of highly skilled Maintenance Engineers and together you'll deliver high quality maintenance across all the production equipment. You'll work on PPM schedules and deal with unexpected breakdowns. A key part of your job will be fault finding on mechanical systems such as drives and shafts. You will also be monitoring, recording and controlling all engineering work (including that of contractors) to ensure that it conforms to the highest standards consistent with cost, hygiene, quality, health and safety standards and customer expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer and be able to demonstrate experience of working on a range of machinery within a manufacturing environment. You will be mechanically biased (60/40) with a good understanding of electrical procedures and processes. Your a strong short and long term thinker, able to systematically diagnose engineering faults and rapidly plan/arrange/direct work to resolve problem.
