Buyer needed for 1 year long procurement role with sought after SW based public sector organisation.

Large Public Sector Organisation with bases throughout the South West.

Your new role

The purpose of the role will be to assist with the day to day operations of the organisation by helping with the procurement of the goods and services.

Main duties include:

* Help staff fulfil their procurement requirements and be the point of contact to support any member of staff
* Apply processes and systems effectively and explain these approaches to others
* Ensure compliance is maintained
* Analyse data (including expenditure and usage patterns) and use your conclusions to improve service or recommend improvements or new agreements
* Utilise framework agreements to operate using best practise procurement

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role you must possess the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience in procurement
* Strong communication skills
* Analytical with a strong IT skill set
* People management skills

What you'll get in return

£11 - £13 per hour. 1 year contract. Falmouth.
