Supply Chain Inventory Planner £22k - £24k Full time, permanent North Lincolnshire M-F, 40 hours p/w

Your new role
An exciting and new opportunity has been created within a fast growing manufacturing business, based in North Lincolnshire. As Supply Chain Planner, you will look after forecast and demand planning on products, working closely with the Materials Scheduler, assisting in peak times and covering for holidays. You will be responsible for dealing with approved suppliers, ordering materials to ensure that production targets can be met and orders are being fulfilled on time and in full. You will manage any supply issues; raising any issues to the business.

Key Duties Include;

* Look after forecasting and demand planning on products
* Monitoring weekly sales and identifying any changes in demand
* Manage production capacity and ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time
* Release stock call off for production from orders and hand to the manufacturing team
* Liaise with Buyers regarding new stock needed
* Management of promotional demand
* Liaise with warehouse to manage stock queries
* Update critical path
* Assist & cover for scheduler during peak times & holidays
* Report analysis for all supply chain highlighting critical risk
* Maintain minimum maximum levels
* Maintain consignment stock and call off when needed.
* Manage shipments by land & sea ensuring arrival for production
* Manage bonded stock warehouses.

What you'll need to succeed

* Previous experience in a Demand Planning or Supply Planning role
* Excellent attention to detail
* Inventory / stock management experience
* Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
* Numerical
* Negotiation skills
* Problem solving skills
* Excellent ICT skills, must be strong Excel user; V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, report writing etc.
