Project Manager - Civil Engineering (Roads & Infrastructure)

Our client is one of the country's largest privately owned contractors within annual turnover in excess £5billion per annum and with interests across all aspects of construction. They are continually looking towards the future with heavy investment in new innovation and are always looking to make sure they are their people are at the cutting edge of their industry.

They are currently at the initial stages of one of the highest profile construction projects in the Northwest area which is a £500million upgrade to a major transport hub. The project will incorporate major civil engineering, new build and fit out packages.

They are currently looking for a Project Manager to deliver a £20milllion pound infrastructure package which will contain major ground works, access roads and reinforced concrete works. The role requires the individual prepare, approve and check method statements. Manage the quality procedures of sub contractors and their outputs. You will also be required to advise on construction methods and temporary works coordination. Also where required be able to resolve design issues prior to build. You will also need to liaise regularly with the clients representatives on site and be commercially astute. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication at all levels.
