BRC are currently working with a leading consultancy in Cardiff who are looking to take on an a Senior Cost Manager for their Cardiff office

Our Client is an independent consultancy offering a wide range of services including cost management and project management, procurement, risk assessment, value engineering as well as expert advice on contracts, capital allowances, due diligence, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution. 

They have delivered some of Europe's largest building and engineering projects and successfully managed projects across the public, private and utility sectors.

 Following continued success within their Surveying team, they're now looking to take on an experienced Cost Manager with a strong consultancy background.

The role:

·         Valuations and payments.
·         Budget preparation and analysis.
·         Cashflow forecasting.
·         Contractual correspondence.
·         Change management assessment and agreement.
·         Procurement support.
·         Monitoring and managing risk.
·         Reporting of financial performance.
·         Benchmarking and cost data capture.

Level of experience and qualifications:

•           Qualified to degree level, or equivalent.
•           Demonstrable experience as a QS in a construction environment, including the water sector (Preferred)
•           Proficient level of knowledge of the NEC3 suite of contracts.
•           Able to work on your own initiative without needing constant direction.
