This East Anglia based Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance company are currently seeing an outstanding and enthusiastic Operations Manager to join their Grounds Maintenance team.

Your role will be to:

Lead your teams in the delivery of a service that exceeds expectations by coaching and managing the Assistant Contracts Managers.
Managing client relationships whilst maintaining compliance with industry standards, client specifications and organisational Policy and Procedure. Through team working, ensure that the Administration team are equipped and prepared to deal with customer communications in a prompt and professional manner. Includes but not exclusive to; queries, complaints and quotations.
Using your knowledge of customer requirements, team skills and statutory requirements to successfully programme cyclical works for all teams and ensuring that these are either delivered as expected or rescheduled so as to minimise disruption to remaining works.
Working in partnership with the Head of Operations, Finance Manager, HR Manager and Tendering team to assess resource requirements, ensuring that your area of the business is prepared for current and future work pressures.
Providing regular departmental reports to the Head of Operations. Ensure that the information forms a 'live document' which can be used to help create an in depth understanding of the departments requirements, assist in the management of overall and individual performance and act as an avenue for open communication with the Head of Operations, in regard to resource pinch points and excess requirements.

As a member of the Management team you will be expected to support the Senior Management team in developing and delivering the organisational vision and values within all business activities. As a representative of the business you will ensure that colleagues, clients and supply chain understand and engage with the businesses vision and values.
Taking a pro-active approach to HR related activities, build a high performing team, minimising non-attendance at work and decreasing labour turnover.

For this role they are seeking someone who has enthusiasm and drive, experience of the grounds care and amenity sector is not essential, they will look at strong operations experience from other sectors but you must be capable of delivering a high quality, profitable service. Builds and develops relationships with new and existing customers. Managing and developing a professional and motivated team and as a service provider all activities to be delivered to time and to an expert quality
