Job purpose
·Assist the site team to manage projects from contract award through to completion; reporting to the Project Manager;
·To ensure the successful completion of projects for our client in accordance with quality, safety and environmental;
·procedures of the business, whilst maintaining and improving client relationships and working with the team to;
·achieve outstanding performance from a health, safety, environmental, quality and financial point of view;
·Responsible for the supervision of trades/operations, reviewing the quality of work and progress required, ensuring;
·safe working conditions, ensuring materials are monitored and stored correctly and always available to avoid delay to the project;
·Overall responsible for commissioning and overseeing the installation of systems, plant and equipment;
·Contract completion and data collection (DRL) in an agreed timescale.

Responsibilities
·Technical expertise in the placement of sub-contracts and material orders relating to mechanical/electrical equipment;
·Promoting collaborative behaviours with customer and design partner;
·Technical expertise in commissioning of the works and completion of all necessary site acceptance test documents. Experience in wastewater and water commissioning is essential;
·Working very closely with client representative and client operations team is a fundamental part of the role and excellent communication skills is essential;
·Management of sub-contractors and assistance in the placement of sub-contract and material orders;
·Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental standards are achieved on site;
·Ensuring high levels of customer service achieved;
·Supporting and promoting collaborative values across the framework with customers and partners.
·Encouraging innovation within teams;
·Strong focus on customer's project outcomes;
·Strong focus on the team's performance for protection of customer's environmental consent and water quality;
·Promoting and demonstrating AMP6 and AMP7 customer principles & values across projects;
·Planning, programming and preparation of project programme for mechanical and electrical aspects of work and to advise personnel of progress and forecast;
·Preparation, monitoring and implementation of quality planning and controls for various activities;
·Ensure project compliance with the specification and the company policies for quality, safety and environmental issues;
·Methodology selection and preparation of method statements, risk and COSHH assessments, permits to work and monitoring of implementation of procedures on site;
·Development of the Commissioning Plan, Critical Equipment List and SAT Documentation;
·Attend HAZCON/HAZCOM;
·Attend FATs as required;
·Quality Assurance - To maintain quality assurance records in accordance with the Company procedures;
·Interpreting construction information from drawings and specifications etc and ensuring the information is communicated to the particular site operations;
·Ensure all H&S procedures are complied with by all individuals on site;
·Create and maintain records of work done and site activities including as built records, our client's diaries and allocation sheets. Records must be completed daily to ensure all documentation is kept up to date;
·Manage subcontractor operations and coordination including meetings;
·Engineering design - Approval and vetting of sub-contractors designs in accordance with the specification requirements;
·Production of operating and maintenance manuals;
·Attending site progress meetings and production of reports;
·Co-ordination of mechanical, electrical and civil works in co-operation with the Project Manager;
·Co-ordination of Commissioning activities in co-operation with the Project Manager;
·Record Site Testing in accordance with NWL Specs;
·Inspection of equipment as required;
·Advising the Quantity Surveyors of changes to specification and the financial impact on a project;
·Technical assistance to the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor regarding contractual disputes if required;
·Working from shared client collocated office on certain days as required by the project;
·Actioning defects during the liability period;
·Interpreting construction information from drawings and specifications etc and ensuring the information is communicated to the particular site operations;
·Produce a weekly report for the Commissioning Manager;
·Fulfil On call duties as required.
