The Company

I am currently working directly with 6/7 companies across the North West who are directly involved in the stripping and re-cladding of our High Rise Towers. The companies include social housing refurbishment contractors, cladding contractors and housing associations/ councils.

With 60+ Towers in Manchester alone, these companies are looking to recruit experienced Site Managers to support with the full stripping of existing towers and then re-cladding in appropriate fire safe materials.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your role will be responsible for the following:

* The management, co-ordination and delivery of the project, operatives, subcontractors, materials and for ensuring that it runs to the agreed timescales
* Monitoring team performance for both direct and subcontractor employees
* Production of weekly reports against forecast
* Provide a safe working environment by adhering to the correct health and safety procedures

These freelance positions will be for a minimum of 3 months however based on your performance, this could be extended due to the volume or work required to complete as a priority from our government. These High Rise Towers are all within the public sector so some tenant liaison may be required when completing your day to day job.

To be a successful Site Manager within this role, you will have previously experience working on High Rise buildings within either the public or private sector – this may include; apartments, sheltered accommodation, hotels, local authority flats.

You will have experience with all the external refurbishment works including cladding, repairs, stripping materials, external insulation and health and safety. You will be given support and guidance when new government regulations are released to make sure the new work completed has been fire tested first.

In addition you will have the following:

* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
* Scaffold Inspection (Desirable)
* Mast Climber Experience/ Certificates (Desirable)
