Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience within residential projects? Are you looking for a fresh challenge with a progressive company?

If the answer is yes, please read on as we currently have the pleasure in supporting this fantastic developer in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to be based on a large project in Cambridge.

Responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Precontract experience
* Working closely with tender and bid teams
* Advising on contracts and negotiations
* Ensure the project and programme targets are met
* Maintain and coordinate all commercial reports required
* Preparation of the forecasting and reporting of costs
* Ensure all subcontract issues are resolved
* Take responsibility regarding health, safety and the environment
* Managing/agreeing valuations/variations
* Managing and negotiating with subcontractors
* Procuring subcontractors
* Cash flow forecasts
* Final accounts

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
* Show longevity to previous employers
* Be working towards or hold RICS / CIOB professional membership
* Be commercially astute and have a keen eye for detail
