An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Development Executive to work for our well-established client based in Poole, Dorset!

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours:Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum

Temp to permanent role!

Job summary

  • Generate new business opportunities for the regional team to create growth in territories.
  • Prospect and deliver quality appointments to meet and exceed business targets.

Job description:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for the business by prospecting and engaging dealers

  • Seek new trading relationships nationally.

  • Use weekly payment run reports, trading margin reports, CRM database, and liaison with Regional Managers among other tactics.

  • Set as many appointments as possible to ensure growth of regions


  • Prospect new business appointments for the regional team

  • Book appointments directly into regional manager diaries

  • Meet qualifications standards set by the business

  • Oversee network application submission

  • Plan appointments in accordance with current company performance standards

  • Monthly meeting in head office with the regional team

  • Complete Weekly Check-in/ Out and review performance weekly

  • Complete monthly PDR review

  • Report weekly all new business activity

  • Ensure accessibility of the calendar for the regional team

  • Work on special projects to support the growth of business when needed.

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years telesales experience

  • Knowledge of geographical areas

  • Industry Knowledge preferred

  • No formal qualifications are mandatory.

  • IT Literate with knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
