New Business Development Manager
As the leading exponent of direct mail as a marketing medium, this leading national organisation has built and developed a team that aids businesses, both large and small in maximising their effectiveness of direct mail. The medium continues to grow and evolve as a communication channel in an increasingly digital world as a result of improved personalisation and better measurement techniques. They are now seeking to grow their new business development team with the appointment of a New Business Development Manager to manage the lead generation program targeting senior stakeholders within brands, agencies and other influencers in order to drive new and incremental revenue.
The role will entail working independently to develop and manage the lead generation programme and contact strategy for tactical opportunities, and build content to execute communications using email, telephone and presentations, taking any new business initiatives through to initial execution stage, orchestrating stakeholders and external suppliers.
You will have gained experience of managing similar programmes in a company selling marketing services or marketing related products to businesses, ideally with some exposure to direct marketing. Equally you will be comfortable with influencing senior clients, and building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This is a high profile and influential role in a large organisation, with scope for further career development.
Salary: £70,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
