IT and Facilities Officer
I am currently supporting an International Development organisation based in Central London to appoint an IT and Facilities Officer.
I am looking to speak with an individual who has prior experience of working with users in an open plan office. This individual will have experience of supporting users to assist them with repairing and resolving IT issues. In addition to this, they will demonstrate experience of other tasks such as Health & Safety and facilities.
This is a newly created role, as the organisation has experienced a rapid period of growth. As this organisation operates in a number of different countries globally, this individual will have to think about the different ways they can communicate, train and liaise with overseas staff.
This role reports directly to the IT & Facilities Manager, the successful individual will work to ensure the management of the General Office and provide contract management support for procured services including IT, office equipment and supplies.
The main objective of the role is to assist with internal systems queries such as Microsoft SharePoint and more general IT queries, while supporting the induction and training of new staff.
Part of the role includes assisting with research for a number of procurement processes and projects.
This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
