Sheridan Maine are recruiting on behalf a leading global organisation, with extensive growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join this dynamic and innovative business based at their Head Office in Bournemouth.

This role requires an experienced Financial Controller / Accountant with strong management and reporting skills, who can play and integral role in the ongoing development and success of the business. Reporting into the Finance Director.
  • Responsible for all elements within finance; creating budgets in line with the business model, monitoring and controlling the spend to ensure budgets are adhered and the strategic goals are achieved.
  • Managing a small team of direct reports.
  • Optimising cash flow and ensuring that all transactions are completed.
  • Production of monthly management accounts and commentary, identifying any key areas for improvements.
  • The production of the statutory financial accounts for all companies within the Group.
You will be a Qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) and technically capable Accountant, with strong commercial acumen and understanding, strong people management and motivation skills. Previous experience of day to day management of a global finance function across multiple sites and exposure to multicurrency would be a distinct advantage, as well as having the drive to succeed in a growing business, and keen to make a positive impact.
