Our client are a respected well established Managed Serves ad IT solutions business based in East London and currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their successful and expanding team. They have designed, deployed and managed resilient data and communication infrastructures for customers across the Private and Public Sectors, from Mid-Market and Enterprise organisations, through to some of the UK’s largest and most demanding Healthcare, Higher Education and Central Government environments.

This is an exciting time to be join their business due to the high demand for their expertise and services and where you will be involved in both the management of existing customers and the development of new clients

As a Business development Manager you will be supported by our sales and marketing resources to drive new customer opportunities within one of three areas :

  • Networks , Cisco , HP , Extreme networks
  • Unify - Unified Communications
  • Network Security - Palo Alto , bluecoat , fortinet , Firewalls

You will work alongside vendors and partners to uncover new clients and self-generating new opportunities.

You will play a key part in identifying opportunities, developing responses to tenders ensuring the delivery of best in class solutions to clients .

You will have a proven track record of developing, maintaining and expanding customer relationships to meet revenue goals while maintaining end user engagement and satisfaction whilst maintaining target and sales pipeline.

Essential to the role is the enthusiasm and ability to grasp and develop your knowledge of new services and products within the solutions portfolio and well as the relevant competitive products and solutions that solve respective account business needs.

You ideally have a strong background within IT Sales , IT sales Account management or be a IT Business Development Manager within a Managed Services Provider.

You may have previously have a background and experience selling one of the following solutions:

  • Networks , Cisco , HP , Extreme networks
  • Unify - Unified Communications
  • Network Security - Palo Alto , bluecoat , fortinet , Firewalls

Demonstrable Skills Required

IT Literacy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Specifically Outlook, Word and Excel

Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)

Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Strong Time Management

Experience Required

Minimum 3 Years Sales Experience in an IT Environment

Demonstrable Achievement of Recent Sales Targets
