NHS trust based in Liverpool are looking for a Deputy Service Desk Manager Fixed term contract until 31/03/17
Your new company
You will be working for a leading NHS trust based just outside Liverpool city centre, due to a change in the team an opportunity working for this growing IT team.
Your new role
You will be responsible to assist the IT Manager in the smooth running of of the IT Service Desk to ensure growth in the team and help support any queries the team may have and help with the future growth. You will be responsible for providing technical support of all ICT systems within the trust and assist the IT manager in developing the ITIL framework.
What you'll need to succeed
A good understanding of the need for and value of systems and procedures and how to implement these in a high-pressure environment. Previous experience working within an deputy IT service desk manager. Previous experience working with third parties including outsourced providers and a proven working knowledge of Active Directory.
Technical skills including:
- Windows Server 2008
- Exchange 2010
- Desktop Deployment
- LAN/WAN technologies
- Proxy Servers.
What you'll get in return
This is a fixed term contract until March 2018, with an opportunity for an extension.
