£32,839 per annum per annum for 36 hours per week based at Consort House, 5- 7 Queensway, Redhill, RH1 1YB.

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment to provide maternity cover.

About the Role

Property services are part of the Orbis Partnership working with Surrey, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove Councils. The Facilities Team within Property Services manage and maintain various buildings throughout Surrey.  The team ensure that Surrey staff work in a safe and secure environment.

The main work base for this position is Consort House, Redhill but you will be expected to travel to other local Boroughs and Districts if needed or other Corporate Buildings.

The team you will manage comprises of 5 Customer Liaison Officers and 2 Building Maintenance Officers, therefore experience of working and managing a team is essential. You will need excellent skills in Communication and IT. Health & Safety is one of the main aspects of this role therefore qualifications in this area would be beneficial.

To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:

  • Experience of working within a team
  • An ability to communicate with staff in the building and Contractors
  • A flexible approach to your work, due to the need to work across sites, sometimes at short notice
  • A Health & Safety qualification e.g.  Oshens or Nebosh
