Howett Thorpe are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a market leading company based in Woking on a 12 month fixed term basis.
About The Role
Reporting in to and supporting the Finance Manager, you will be monitoring day to day financial transactions and assisting with month end close including:
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Reconciliation of capital expenditure and intercompany accounts
- Preparation of month end journals and reports
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring billings, revenue and day to day transactions
The successful Assistant Accountant must be immediately available and will be either AAT qualified or ACCA or CIMA part qualified. You will have transaction finance experience and a good understanding of the month end process.
