Banner have an exciting opportunity for a driven and creative National Product Specialist within the Cleaning and Janitorial arena to support the wider sales community to select and sell the right product selection to their existing customers with an estimated contract value of up to £50K per annum. This is a fast paced, field based role, with a salary up to £29,000 depending on experience plus commission, car and other great benefits.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the growth of new business from new and existing customers for category of Cleaning and Janitorial. You will deliver and exceed the budgetary expectations of the channel (revenue/margin/KPI’s) by winning sustainable new business across all contracted areas within Banner, track and report on performance via appropriate sales tools (CRM) and support the developed sales proposition in conjunction with functional heads (Contracts/Channel Manager / Channel Manager/Marketing). You will also need to forecast new business wins with a high degree of accuracy based on commercial assumptions that can be constructively challenged/discussed.
We are seeking an individual who has a proven ability to communicate at all levels and has a minimum of 1 years experience of selling into cleaning category sales at a Low to Middle level. You will have a track record of working with contracts that hold a value of up to £50K per annum, experience in the execution of transactional account plan and experience of winning, developing and retaining cleaning contracts. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to successfully deliver a sales plan for targeted product category growth are also key to be successful in this role.
